DITO

The DITO is a light weight (870g) ESD simulator designed for pulses as per EN/IEC 61000-4-2 and other standards. The DITO comes with a pre-installed library of test routines and can generate pulses up to 10kV (contact discharge) and 16.5kV (air discharge).

The compact Next Generation NX5 is the most versatile tester to address transient (Burst up to 5.5kV and Surge up to 5kV) and power fail requirements for both international and commercial standards. Coupling NX5 and Coupling NX7

The three-phase coupling/decoupling networks of the coupling NX series are used to couple EFT/Burst-, Surge- and Ring wave pulses on DC-lines or to three-phase (4-wire or 5-wire) mains supply systems for voltages up to 1,000 VDC / 3 x 690 VAC. This includes the more and more common testing of inverters used in the area of renewable energies (e.g. photovoltaic systems, wind power stations, electric cars). Full compliance over a wide range of EUT current, within 16A, 32 A, 63 A, 125 A and 200 A settings. Higher current ratings on request.

DCD ST and DCD SR Series

Surge pulses, Telecoms Pulses or Ring wave pulses are applied to unshielded unsymmetrical interconnection lines (signal/data lines) by means of standalone coupling/decoupling networks. For such testing AMETEK CTS offers a range of DCDs for 4 or 8 signal/data lines for pulses up to 7kV.

LD 200N

The LD 200N simulates these high energy pulses having a duration time in the range of hundreds of milliseconds. The LD 200N generates the Load Dump pulses as per ISO 7637, ISO 16750-2, SAE J1113, SAE J1455, JASO and many more manufacturer specification, e.g. Ford, Chrysler, Renault, PSA, NISSAN etc. By means of a built-in clipping circuit the LD 200N also generates clipped load dump pulses as per international standards as well as manufacturer requirements.

The UCS 200N Ultra-Compact Simulator series for Automotive Transient Pulses 1, 2 and 3a/3b. This unifies the capabilites of an EFT/Burst simualtor, a Micropulse simulator and the required coupling network into one box. The UCS 200N series is equiped to meet all international and car manufacturer specifications from around the globe. The built-in coupling network ranges up to 200A depending on the model. Secondly, the VDS 200Q series serve as powerful DC voltage supplies for the DUT during the tests with automotive transients. Battery simulation becomes more and more an issue in today´s automotive testing. Waveforms are getting more and more complex. Standardised single phenomena like cranking are still tested but reallife signals are of even higher interest for testing full vehicles or parts of it under real conditions. Common arbitrary generators often fail in testing these requirements especially if iteration of various test parameters within one test are required. The AutoWave unifies a 4-channel arbitrary generator and a 2-channel transient wave recorder in a small and handy unit. The AutoWave is best of generating and recording any kind of waveform in the automotive area.

Power Supply Simulation and Analysis

Harmonics and interharmonics are caused by modern electronic power conditioning modules. Such, mostly non-linear, modules to control loads and to reduce power consumption is the source of voltage at unwanted frequencies superposed on the supply voltage. Voltage fluctuations caused by varying load currents may influence the luminance or the spectral distribution of lighting systems. The impression of the unsteadiness of visual sensation induced by this light stimulus is called flicker. The DPA500N harmonics and flicker analyzer is used for single phase applications and the DPA 503N is used for 3-phase applications - but also supports single phase applications.

Netwave Series

The NetWave Series are a AC/DC power source, specifically designed to fully meet the requirements as per the standards IEC/EN 61000-4-13, -4-14, -4-28 and in addition to pre compliance testing to -4-27. It is also used as a DC power source to cover the requirements as per the standards IEC/EN 61000-4-17 (Ripple on DC) and IEC/EN 61000-4-29 for voltage dips and interruptions on DC supplies. The NetWave series is well suited for testing inverters (e.g. solar power, wind power) and e-vehicles like LV 123 standard.

Additionally, the NetWave series (3-phase) offers the necessary capabilities for avionics testing as per DO-160, Airbus ABD0100 and Boeing as well as per MIL-STD-704 and is perfectly suited as reference source for Harmonics and Flicker testing.

Optionally the NetWave 3-phase series can be equipped with a power-recovery module to absorb fedback power (AC/DC) up to nominal power of the NetWave.

In its 3-phase form, the Netwave has a wide power bandwidth (DC to 5kHz), output voltage up to 3*690 VAC/+/- 1120 VDC and output power up to 270kVA AC / 324 kW DC.
