E-field Generator – RadiField® RFS2006B

The RadiField Triple A RFS2006B is a unique E-field generator for EMC radiated immunity/susceptibility testing. The RadiField is developed by DARE!! Instruments and has a revolutionary, fully integrated and patented design. This design gets rid of all the technical disadvantages of conventional systems based on a separate amplifier with internal power combiners. with the RadiField® no external cabling to the antenna and other separate discrete system components are needed, All you need in one cable! The RadiField only needs an external signal from a signal generator to start with efficient EMC radiated immunity testing, without power losses. The RadiField is controlled by a RadiCentre read-out system, which is an appurtenant part of the E-field generator system for radiated susceptibility.

The RadiField RFS2018B is the latest extension in the product range of RadiField E-field generator systems. The RadiField is a unique E-field generator for EMC radiated immunity/susceptibility testing. The RadiField is developed by DARE!! Instruments and has a revolutionary and patented design. The design of the RadiField makes several discrete components, like combiners, couplers, power meters and cabling, superfluous. The RadiField only needs an external signal from a signal generator to start with efficient EMC radiated immunity testing. The RadiField is controlled by a RadiCentre read-out system, this is an appurtenant part of the E-field generator system for radiated susceptibility.

Laser Powered Probe – RadiSense® 10

Due to a new patented technology, dramatically improving the isotropic behavior, the RadiSense 10 is the most accurate electrical field (E-Field) probe in the world! The probe can be used to measure the field strength over a wide frequency band of 9 kHz to 12 GHz. The ongoing endeavor of DARE!! Instruments to develop better products, has now resulted in an unprecedented accurate E-Field probe.

To be able to perform conducted immunity testing on an EUT (Equipment Under Test) with several types of connecting cables, different Coupling Decoupling Networks are needed.

EMC test systems can vary from simple an EMC test system with one or two instruments, to complex installations with many EMC measurement instruments connected, while in many cases even a turntable and an antenna mast should be controlled. In order to enable full automated EMC testing, these devices and measuring instruments, should be controlled in an automated manner. Where the EMC test software RadiMation acts as the software centre of the EMC system; the EMC test system RadiCentre is the core of the hardware. With the introduction of the RadiCentre by DARE!! Instruments, cost effective, full automated testing finally becomes reality!

RadiPower® - Series of EMC & RF Power Meters

The RadiPower is a RF power head designed for CW power measurements during EMC testing. A range of power heads is available to measure RF power from 4 kHz up to 18 GHz. The RadiPower is an affordable, fast and accurate RF power head with USB interface for easy connection. The RPR2006C covers a frequency band from 4 kHz up to 6 GHz and is able to perform measurements with an accuracy of 0.15 dB. The RPR2018C covers a frequency band from 80 MHz up to 18 GHz and is able to perform measurements with an accuracy of 0.2 dB. This range of heads makes effective immunity measurements in accordance with EMC standards possible.

EMC E-field probe – RadiSense® 18

The RadiSense 18 is an electrical field strength sensor which can be used to measure the field strength during radiated susceptibility tests in an EMC environment. DARE!! Instruments invented the first in the world laser powered E-field probe, the RadiSense 4, in 1999. Nowadays, laser supplied E-field sensors are the standard in the industry. The RadiSense 18 provides a laser supplied, small, accurate and fast Efield probe for EMC immunity measurements. The RadiSense field strength sensor is controlled by a RadiCentre read-out system, this is an appurtenant part of the E-field probe system. Next to this the RadiSense can be controlled by a PC, using RadiMation Free EMC test software.

Instruments invented the first in the world laser powered E-field probe, the RadiSense 4, in 1999. Nowadays laser supplied E-field sensors are the standard in the industry. The RadiSense 4 provides a small, accurate and fast E-field probe for EMC immunity measurements. The RadiSense field strength sensor is controlled by a RadiCentre read-out system, this is an appurtenant part of the E-field probe system. Next to this the RadiSense can be controlled by a PC, using RadiMation Free EMC test software.

RadiMation® - The Automated EMC Test Software Solution

EMC test software RadiMation from DARE!! Instruments combines Immunity and Emission testing, radiated as well as conducted tests, in one integrated software package for use throughout the entire EMC test facility. Instead of automatizing just a few (Electric Magnetic Compatibility) EMC tests, the user of the RadiMation EMC test software can perform complete tests. RadiMation® EMC software is developed in close cooperation with external companies like EMC-accredited laboratories. The heart of this package is a closed loop system which is optimized so that measurements can be performed quickly and accurately. This package supports any brand of EMC test equipment, all standards such as civil, automotive, military, aerospace and the test results can be easily exported. Tests that are performed regularly, can be defined and implemented in series without the intervention of an engineer. All these properties together with the control of the device under test (EUT) and the automatic generation of a fully automated EMC test report makes fully automated testing a reality.

RadiSwitch® - Series of RF Switch Cards

The RadiSwitch is a series of RF switching plug-in cards for fully automated EMC testing. EMC test systems are often complex installations with many different test and measurement instrumentation. To enable full automated testing, all measuring instruments as well as the connections made between amplifiers, power meters, antennae and EMI receivers should be selected in an automated manner. The RadiSwitch is especially designed to switch RF signals between multiple instruments during EMC measurements. The RadiSwitch plug-in cards are inserted into a RadiCentre modular test system, which is an appurtenant part of the switching system for all kind of EMC and RF tests. The switching cards can easily be controlled automatically by an EMC test software package like RadiMation.

RadiLink® - The next innovation in the RF field

DARE!! Instruments introduced its first analogue optical RF link for the automotive industry more than 15 years ago. This analogue fiber optic link replaces the coaxial cable with emission measurements, so that undesirable effects, due to the measuring cables, are put in the past. Various leading car manufacturers use the RadiLink for broadband emission measurements on antennas in a vehicle.

With the increasing demands and technological developments in a modern-day vehicle, the need arose to further expand and improve the RadiLink functionality. For example, a modern vehicle uses various antennas, including radio (AM, FM, DAB +), TV (UHF, VHF, DVB-T), GPS and communication (GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth). In order to be able to properly measure emission disturbances of all these different antennas in the vehicle, DARE!! Instruments developed the new RadiLink 8-channel analog fiber optic RF link.
